IT IS A JUNGLE OUT THERE!
This week in southern Louisiana, we had temperatures around 17 degrees F and ice on many of the ponds. We hear all the time “It is too cold for the snakes and alligators to be out.” With ice on pond edges and frost on surrounding foliage we found a number of Ibis catching snakes for their evening meal in the tall foliage. Even in cold weather, everyone including you and I still need to eat. Life goes on …… well except for the snake shown in the album photograph. It is a jungle of beauty in southern Louisiana. We hope you enjoy this album.
